Sitting on top of Mt. Meilun, Pine Garden enjoys an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean and Hualien harbor. The red arch bridge closer to the Pine Garden is Chinghua Bridge and the one further away is Shukuang Bridge, which is the main traffic artery linking Hualien and her harbor.

If you feel like a stroll after visiting the Pine Garden, you may go by the walkway at the rear of the Pine Garden. As you walk down the mountain, you will be greeted by a cluster of waterfront buildings along the Meilun River built during the Japanese Occupation, including General’s Residence and Chinghua Forest Villa.
